Is there a setup fee?
No. There are no setup fees, no onboarding charges and no lock-in contracts. Your first month starts when you activate your account.
What happens if I miss a payment?
A 5% late payment fee is applied to the outstanding balance for each week the invoice remains unpaid. Platform access may be suspended after 14 days of non-payment.
Can I change my logo and colours?
Yes — all plans include white-label configuration. Upload your logo and set your brand colours from your dashboard. AI matches your brand automatically on setup.
Is Freigh8 liable for freight bookings?
No. Freigh8 Tech acts as a technology provider only. We are not a freight carrier or broker. All booking liability sits with the carrier and the subscribing business. Full terms are in our SaaS Agreement.
How quickly can I go live?
Starter and Growth plans are typically live within 3–5 business days. Enterprise plans include priority onboarding with a dedicated setup session.

Service: Freigh8 Tech Pty Ltd ("Freigh8") grants you a non-exclusive licence to access the subscribed platform(s) for your internal business use.
Technology intermediary: Freigh8 is a technology provider only. Freigh8 holds no liability for loss, damage, delay, misdelivery, non-delivery, or any other freight-related outcome caused by carriers or the subscribing business. All freight liability rests with the carrier and subscriber.
Payment: Subscription fees are charged monthly in advance to your nominated card via Stripe. All prices are in AUD and exclusive of GST.
Late payment: A 5% late payment fee is applied to any outstanding balance for each week the invoice remains unpaid. Platform access may be suspended after 14 days of non-payment.
Intellectual property: All platform IP remains the property of Freigh8 Tech Pty Ltd. You retain ownership of your data.
White-label: You may brand the platform with your own logo and colours. You may not remove Freigh8 attribution from Broker-tier plans.
Termination: Either party may cancel with 30 days notice. No refunds on partial months. Freigh8 may terminate immediately for breach of these terms.

These Terms of Service govern the relationship between Freigh8 Tech Pty Ltd (ABN pending, ACN pending) trading as Freigh8, a company registered under the Corporations Act 2001 (Cth) with its registered office in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia ("Freigh8 Tech", "we", "us", "our") and any person or business ("Client", "you") that accesses or uses freigh8.com or any Freigh8 Tech platform or service.
Freigh8 Tech is a technology company only. We are not a freight carrier, freight broker, freight forwarder, logistics provider, or transport operator. We build and licence technology software tools.
2. Definitions
"Freigh8 Tech" means Freigh8 Tech Pty Ltd, its officers, directors, shareholders, employees, contractors, agents, successors, and assigns.
"Platform" means the Freigh8 Booking Platform, Freigh8 Quote Engine, APIs, dashboards, and all associated software and services.
"Client" means the business or individual subscribing to or accessing the Platform.
"End User" means any person who interacts with a Client's white-label implementation of the Platform.
"Client Data" means all data, rate cards, invoices, and information uploaded by or belonging to the Client.
"Intellectual Property" means all patents, copyright, trade marks, designs, trade secrets, source code, algorithms, models, and know-how.
3. Platform Licence
Freigh8 Tech grants the Client a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and use the Platform solely for the Client's internal business purposes during the active subscription term. The Client must not sub-licence, resell, copy, reverse-engineer, decompile, clone, or create derivative works from any part of the Platform without prior written consent from Freigh8 Tech. Breach of this clause may result in immediate termination and legal action.
4. Freigh8 Tech Is a Technology Intermediary Only — No Freight or Operational Liability
Freigh8 Tech provides software technology only. To the fullest extent permitted by law:
Freigh8 Tech is not a party to any freight booking, carrier contract, or shipment agreement facilitated through the Platform.
Freigh8 Tech holds absolutely no liability for any loss, damage, delay, misdelivery, non-delivery, bodily injury, property damage, cargo damage, financial loss, consequential loss, or any other outcome arising from freight bookings, rate analysis decisions, or any use of the Platform.
Rate analysis results produced by the Quote Engine are indicative only and based entirely on data provided by the Client. Freigh8 Tech makes no representation as to their accuracy, completeness, or fitness for any purpose.
The Client assumes all risk in connection with freight operations and rate decisions made through the Platform.
The Client irrevocably agrees to fully indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Freigh8 Tech Pty Ltd, its directors, shareholders, officers, employees, contractors, and agents from and against any and all claims, demands, actions, liabilities, costs, damages, fines, penalties, and expenses (including legal costs on a full indemnity basis) arising from or connected to the Client's or any End User's use of the Platform.
5. Intellectual Property — Ownership & Protection
All Intellectual Property in the Freigh8 Tech platforms — including but not limited to software code, source code, algorithms, AI models, database architecture, API design, user interface, visual design, brand names, trade marks, domain names, and business methods — is and remains the exclusive property of Freigh8 Tech Pty Ltd. No licence, right, or title to any Intellectual Property is granted except the limited access right in clause 3.
Unauthorised copying, cloning, replication, reverse-engineering, or reproduction of any Freigh8 Tech product or platform in whole or in part is strictly prohibited and will result in immediate legal action including injunctive relief, damages, and recovery of all legal costs. Freigh8 Tech will vigorously enforce its Intellectual Property rights.
The Client retains ownership of Client Data they upload. The Client grants Freigh8 Tech a non-exclusive licence to process Client Data solely for the purpose of delivering the agreed services.
6. Data Privacy, Security & Breach
Freigh8 Tech takes data security seriously and implements industry-standard technical and organisational measures. However:
No system is guaranteed to be 100% secure. Freigh8 Tech does not warrant that the Platform will be free from unauthorised access, hacking, cyber attack, data breach, or other security incidents.
In the event of an eligible data breach under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth), Freigh8 Tech will comply with its obligations under the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme — notifying affected individuals and the OAIC where required.
Freigh8 Tech's liability in connection with any data breach is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law and is capped as set out in clause 10.
The Client is responsible for the security of its own account credentials, API keys, and employee access. Freigh8 Tech is not liable for breaches resulting from the Client's failure to maintain reasonable security practices.
Clients are strongly encouraged to enable multi-factor authentication (MFA) on their accounts. Freigh8 Tech is not liable for unauthorised access to accounts where MFA was available but not enabled by the Client.
7. Subscription, Payment & Late Fees
Subscription fees are charged monthly in advance to the Client's nominated payment method via Stripe. All prices are in AUD and exclusive of GST. Per-consignment fees (Booking Platform) are charged at month end based on actual usage. The Client authorises Freigh8 Tech to automatically debit fees on applicable billing dates.
A late payment fee of 5% of the outstanding balance per week applies to any unpaid invoice. Platform access may be suspended after 14 days of non-payment and terminated after 30 days. All fees, including accrued late fees, remain payable upon termination.
8. Cancellation & 30-Day Notice Requirement
The Client must provide a minimum of 30 days written notice to cancel their subscription, delivered by email to info@freigh8.com. Notice is not effective until acknowledged in writing by Freigh8 Tech.
Where a Client cancels without providing the required 30 days notice, or cancels with immediate effect, a cancellation fee equal to 30 days of the applicable subscription fee will be charged to the Client's nominated payment method. This fee represents a genuine pre-estimate of loss and administrative cost to Freigh8 Tech arising from the cancellation.
Annual subscriptions may not be cancelled within the 12-month term. Freigh8 Tech may terminate immediately for material breach, non-payment, or unlawful use. No refunds are provided on prepaid or partial-month fees.
9. Warranties Disclaimer
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY AUSTRALIAN LAW, THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT ANY WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, ACCURACY, COMPLETENESS, OR UNINTERRUPTED AVAILABILITY. FREIGH8 TECH DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE PLATFORM WILL BE ERROR-FREE, VIRUS-FREE, OR THAT ANY DEFECTS WILL BE CORRECTED.
10. Limitation of Liability — Maximum Protection
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY THE AUSTRALIAN CONSUMER LAW AND ALL OTHER APPLICABLE LEGISLATION:
Freigh8 Tech's total aggregate liability to the Client for any and all claims arising under or in connection with these Terms or the Platform shall not exceed the total fees actually paid by the Client to Freigh8 Tech in the three calendar months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
Freigh8 Tech excludes all liability for indirect, consequential, special, incidental, punitive, or exemplary loss or damage, including but not limited to: loss of profit, loss of revenue, loss of data, loss of goodwill, loss of business opportunity, loss of anticipated savings, business interruption, or any freight-related loss.
This limitation applies regardless of the legal theory of liability (contract, tort, negligence, statute, or otherwise) and even if Freigh8 Tech has been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth), Schedule 2 (Australian Consumer Law), or the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth), including any guarantees that cannot be excluded for consumers under Schedule 2 of the ACL. Where such non-excludable guarantees apply, Freigh8 Tech's liability is limited to re-supplying the services or paying the cost of having the services re-supplied.
11. Director, Shareholder & Personnel Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, no director, shareholder, officer, employee, contractor, agent, or any other person associated with Freigh8 Tech Pty Ltd shall have any personal liability whatsoever arising from or connected to the Platform, these Terms, any data breach, any freight outcome, or any other matter arising from the Client's or End User's use of the Platform. All claims must be directed solely to Freigh8 Tech Pty Ltd as a corporate entity.
12. Government & Regulatory Bodies
Freigh8 Tech Pty Ltd is not liable to any government body, regulator, or authority for any claim, fine, penalty, or investigation arising from a Client's or End User's use of the Platform. The Client is solely responsible for ensuring their use of the Platform complies with all applicable laws, including transport regulations, privacy laws, consumer laws, and tax obligations.
13. White-Label & Branding
White-label rights are cosmetic only. The Client must not represent the Platform as software it independently developed or owns. Freigh8 Tech branding must remain visible on Broker-tier plans. White-label rights do not include any transfer of Intellectual Property.
14. Termination
Either party may terminate with 30 days written notice subject to clause 8. Freigh8 Tech may terminate immediately for material breach, non-payment, unlawful use, or insolvency. On termination, the Client's access ceases immediately. Data may be exported within 30 days of termination, after which it will be purged.
15. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed exclusively by the laws of South Australia, Australia. The parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of South Australia. Any dispute must first be referred to good faith mediation in South Australia before litigation may be commenced. The prevailing party in any dispute shall be entitled to recover reasonable legal costs.
16. Entire Agreement & Severability
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, Acceptable Use Policy, and SaaS Master Agreement, constitute the entire agreement between the parties. If any provision is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full force. Freigh8 Tech's failure to enforce any right is not a waiver of that right.

Freigh8 Tech Pty Ltd (ABN pending) trading as Freigh8 is committed to protecting personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs). This Policy explains how we collect, use, protect, and disclose personal information.
1. Who We Are
Freigh8 Tech Pty Ltd (trading as Freigh8) is an Australian technology company providing SaaS freight technology platforms. We act as a data processor on behalf of our Clients and as a data controller in respect of our own subscriber and website visitor data. Contact our Privacy Officer: info@freigh8.com.
2. Information We Collect
From subscribers and clients (account data):
Business name, ABN, contact name, email address, phone number, business address
Payment card details — tokenised and processed by Stripe. We do not store raw card numbers.
Billing history, subscription details, platform usage logs, login records, and API access logs
Communications with Freigh8 Tech support, including email and chat content
From End Users (via Client's white-label Booking Platform):
Name, email address, phone number provided at booking
Shipment origin and destination addresses, freight details, item descriptions, weight
Payment details processed through the Client's Stripe Connect account
Booking confirmations, tracking data, and delivery records
From the Quote Engine:
Rate card data and invoice data uploaded by the Client (may include carrier commercial information)
Analysis results generated from Client-uploaded data
Automatically collected:
IP address, browser type, device information, operating system
Pages visited, session duration, clickstream data, and interaction events via cookies and analytics tools
3. How We Use Your Information
To provide, operate, maintain, and improve our platforms and services
To process subscriptions, charge fees, and manage billing via Stripe
To communicate service updates, security alerts, and platform notices
To provide technical support and respond to enquiries
To comply with our legal obligations under Australian law
To detect, prevent, and investigate fraud, security incidents, and unauthorised access
To generate anonymised, aggregated usage data to improve our platforms (no individual is identifiable)
4. Data Security — Technical & Organisational Measures
Freigh8 Tech implements the following security measures:
TLS/HTTPS encryption for all data in transit
AES-256 encryption for data at rest
Multi-factor authentication (MFA) available for all client accounts
Role-based access controls — staff access data on a strict need-to-know basis
Per-tenant data isolation — each Client's data is logically separated and not accessible to other Clients
Regular security assessments and vulnerability monitoring
Secure API key management with revocation capabilities
Audit logs for all administrative access and data operations
Despite these measures, no system can be guaranteed 100% secure. Freigh8 Tech does not warrant that the Platform will be free from all cyber attacks, unauthorised access, or data breaches. We will, however, act promptly and in accordance with law if an incident occurs.
5. Data Breach Response
In the event of an eligible data breach under the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme (Privacy Act 1988, Part IIIC):
We will conduct an assessment within 30 days of becoming aware of a suspected breach
Where required, we will notify affected individuals and the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC)
We will take reasonable steps to contain and remediate the breach
Affected Clients will be notified promptly, with information about the nature of the breach and recommended actions
Limitation of liability for data breaches: To the maximum extent permitted by law, Freigh8 Tech's liability in connection with any data breach is limited as set out in the Terms of Service. Freigh8 Tech Pty Ltd, its directors, shareholders, officers, employees, and associates are not personally liable for any data breach, cyber attack, or unauthorised access affecting the Platform.
6. Disclosure to Third Parties
We may disclose personal information to:
Stripe Inc. — for payment processing (governed by Stripe's Privacy Policy)
Cloud and hosting providers — for platform infrastructure and data storage (Australian or equivalent jurisdiction)
Freight carriers — only where required to fulfil bookings through the Booking Platform
Legal and regulatory authorities — where required by Australian law or court order
Professional advisors — lawyers, accountants, and auditors bound by confidentiality obligations
We do not sell, rent, trade, or otherwise disclose personal information to third parties for marketing, advertising, or commercial purposes. Client rate card and invoice data is never shared with any other Client or third party.
7. Data Storage, Retention & Deletion
All data is stored on encrypted servers in Australia or in jurisdictions with equivalent privacy protections. Retention periods:
Active account data: retained for the duration of the subscription
Post-termination account data: retained for 7 years for legal and tax compliance, then securely deleted
End user booking data: retained for 2 years from booking date
Client rate card and invoice data: available for export for 30 days post-termination, then purged
8. Use at Own Risk — Privacy Disclaimer
By using the Platform, Clients and End Users acknowledge and accept that:
No digital platform is 100% immune from cyber attack, data breach, or unauthorised access
Clients use the Platform and store data on it entirely at their own risk
Freigh8 Tech Pty Ltd, its directors, shareholders, officers, and associates shall not be liable for any loss, damage, or harm arising from a data breach, cyber attack, or unauthorised access to the Platform, except to the extent liability cannot be excluded under Australian law
Clients are responsible for implementing their own security practices, including enabling MFA, securing API keys, and managing employee access
9. Your Privacy Rights
Under the APPs, you may: request access to personal information we hold about you; request correction of inaccurate information; request deletion (subject to legal retention requirements); opt out of marketing communications. Contact: info@freigh8.com. We respond within 30 days. If unsatisfied, you may lodge a complaint with the OAIC at oaic.gov.au.
10. Cookies
freigh8.com uses cookies for session management, analytics, and platform functionality. You may disable cookies via browser settings, though this may affect functionality. We do not use cookies for advertising targeting.

SaaS Master Agreement — Freigh8 Tech Pty Ltd
BINDING CONTRACT. By activating an account, clicking "Accept", or using the Platform, you confirm you have read and agree to this Agreement. This Agreement is legally binding on your business.
1. Parties
This SaaS Master Agreement ("Agreement") is between Freigh8 Tech Pty Ltd (ABN pending) trading as Freigh8 ("Freigh8 Tech") and the business or individual activating a subscription ("Client"). The Client confirms they have authority to bind their business to this Agreement.
2. Products
Freigh8 Booking Platform — a hosted, white-label freight booking portal. Clients configure branding and embed via API. End users quote, book, pay, and track freight. Pricing: monthly platform fee + per-consignment fee.
Freigh8 Quote Engine — an AI-powered freight rate analysis platform. Clients upload their own rate cards and carrier invoices for analysis. All Client data is isolated and private. Pricing: flat monthly subscription fee.
3. Licence & Restrictions
Freigh8 Tech grants the Client a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and use the Platform for internal business purposes. The Client must not sub-licence, resell, copy, reverse-engineer, decompile, clone, or extract the source code of any part of the Platform. IP infringement will result in immediate termination and legal action.
4. Technology Intermediary — Absolute No-Liability on Freight
Freigh8 Tech is a technology provider only — not a carrier, broker, or forwarder. Freigh8 Tech has no liability whatsoever for any freight outcome, rate decision, booking result, cargo damage, or delivery failure. The Client fully indemnifies Freigh8 Tech, its directors, shareholders, officers, employees, and associates against all claims arising from freight operations or rate decisions made using the Platform.
5. Data Privacy & Security
Freigh8 Tech implements industry-standard security including TLS encryption, AES-256 at-rest encryption, MFA availability, role-based access controls, and per-tenant data isolation. Despite these measures, no platform is guaranteed 100% secure. Clients use the Platform and store data at their own risk. Freigh8 Tech's liability for any data breach is capped as set out in clause 11. Freigh8 Tech will comply with its Notifiable Data Breach obligations under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). The Client is responsible for securing their own credentials and enabling MFA.
6. Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)
All client accounts have MFA available. Clients are strongly advised to enable MFA for all users with account access. Freigh8 Tech is not liable for any unauthorised access, data breach, or account compromise where MFA was available but not enabled by the Client. Freigh8 Tech may require MFA for Enterprise-tier accounts at its discretion.
7. Payment Terms
Fees are charged monthly in advance via Stripe. All prices are AUD, exclusive of GST. Per-consignment fees are billed at month end. The Client authorises automatic monthly debiting.
8. Late Payment
Unpaid invoices attract a late fee of 5% of the outstanding balance per week. Access may be suspended after 14 days and terminated after 30 days of non-payment. All fees remain payable on termination and reinstatement.
9. Cancellation — 30-Day Notice Required
The Client must provide a minimum of 30 days written notice to cancel, sent to info@freigh8.com. Where the Client fails to provide 30 days notice, a cancellation fee equal to 30 days of the applicable subscription fee will be charged immediately. This fee is a genuine pre-estimate of loss. Annual subscriptions cannot be cancelled mid-term. No refunds are provided on prepaid or partial-month fees.
10. Intellectual Property
All Platform IP belongs exclusively to Freigh8 Tech Pty Ltd. Client Data belongs to the Client. Unauthorised copying, cloning, or reproduction of the Platform or any part of it will result in immediate legal action. The Client grants Freigh8 Tech a limited licence to process Client Data solely to deliver the services.
11. Limitation of Liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, FREIGH8 TECH'S TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE FEES PAID BY THE CLIENT IN THE THREE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM. FREIGH8 TECH EXCLUDES ALL LIABILITY FOR INDIRECT, CONSEQUENTIAL, SPECIAL, PUNITIVE, OR INCIDENTAL DAMAGES INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFIT, DATA, REVENUE, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY. THIS APPLIES REGARDLESS OF THE THEORY OF LIABILITY. NOTHING HEREIN EXCLUDES LIABILITY THAT CANNOT BE EXCLUDED UNDER THE ACL.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, no director, shareholder, officer, employee, contractor, agent, or any person associated with Freigh8 Tech Pty Ltd shall be personally liable for any claim, loss, damage, or liability arising from these Terms or the use of the Platform. All claims must be made solely against Freigh8 Tech Pty Ltd as a corporate entity.
13. Indemnity
The Client fully indemnifies Freigh8 Tech Pty Ltd, its directors, shareholders, officers, employees, and associates against all claims, costs, damages, fines, and legal expenses (on a full indemnity basis) arising from: the Client's use of the Platform; End User activity; breach of this Agreement; freight operations; rate decisions; data the Client uploads; or any violation of applicable law by the Client or its End Users.
14. Termination
Either party may terminate with 30 days written notice subject to clause 9. Freigh8 Tech may terminate immediately for material breach, non-payment, unlawful use, or insolvency. Client data may be exported within 30 days post-termination; thereafter it will be purged.
15. Governing Law
South Australia, Australia. Disputes first referred to mediation in South Australia before litigation. Prevailing party entitled to full recovery of legal costs.

1. Permitted Use
Operating a white-label freight booking portal for your customers (Booking Platform)
Uploading your own carrier rate cards and invoices for analysis (Quote Engine)
Connecting your broker software to the Quote Engine via API
Embedding the Booking Platform on your own business website
Accessing your account dashboard and managing your subscription
2. Prohibited Use
Copying, cloning, reverse-engineering, or creating derivative works from any Freigh8 Tech platform
Reselling or sub-licensing Platform access to third parties without written consent
Uploading data you do not have legal rights to use or share
Conducting fraudulent, deceptive, or misleading activity through the Platform
Violating Australian Consumer Law, Privacy Act, or any applicable legislation
Exceeding API rate limits through automation, bots, or abusive scripting
Introducing malicious code, viruses, or disruptive content into any Freigh8 Tech system
Attempting to gain unauthorised access to any account, system, or data
Booking shipments of prohibited or dangerous goods without carrier and regulatory approval
Infringing the intellectual property rights of Freigh8 Tech or any third party
3. Security Obligations
Enable multi-factor authentication (MFA) on all user accounts — strongly recommended and required for Enterprise plans
Keep login credentials and API keys confidential — do not share or embed API keys in public code
Notify Freigh8 Tech immediately at info@freigh8.com of any suspected breach or unauthorised access
Implement appropriate access controls for your team
You are responsible for all activity on your account including activity by your staff
4. Data Responsibility
You are responsible for the accuracy, legality, and appropriateness of all data you upload. You must hold appropriate rights to any data uploaded. You must not upload personal information without a lawful basis under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). You use the Platform and store data at your own risk.
5. IP Protection
Any attempt to copy, clone, replicate, or reverse-engineer any Freigh8 Tech platform or product is a material breach of this Policy and the SaaS Master Agreement, and will result in immediate account termination and legal action for Intellectual Property infringement, injunctive relief, and recovery of all damages and legal costs.
6. Enforcement
Freigh8 Tech may suspend or terminate accounts that breach this AUP without notice or refund. Serious violations may be referred to the Australian Federal Police, ACSC, or other relevant authorities.
